Revocable trusts

A revocable trust allows you to change or revoke it at any point during your lifetime. It can help to avoid probating a will, maintain your privacy and allow for asset management, should you become incapable.

Court-appointed trusts

A court-appointed trust is a legal arrangement issued by a court for individuals unable to manage their finances as a result of incapacity or disability. The court oversees the trust and appoints a trustee to work in the beneficiary's best interest through the management of assets. Frost specializes in court appointed trusts for minors and incapacitated persons under Section 142 of the Texas Property Code and Section 1301 of the Texas Estates Code.

Irrevocable trusts

An irrevocable trust cannot be changed or revoked once it has been created. These are managed by a trustee to ensure beneficiaries receive their intended benefits, and since the grantor gives up control over the assets, this can provide tax benefits.

Charitable trusts

Charitable trusts allow for assets to be left to charities. Frost can help provide guidance on these types of trusts to help shape your legacy and support the causes that matter most to you.
